Classes, Commitment & Cost
Classes Start Tuesday April 17 and continue on
Tuesdays through June 26, 2018
in room #2 at the Dreiser Community Center.
$10 per class to drop in and pay as you go!
Classes are from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m.

In addition, there is an annual $15 registration fee for Dreiser Center Class that goes to support the African-American Association of Co-op City which hosts this program as well as a wide variety of programs and classes developed to support the Co-op City community.
However you don't have to be African American to participate in this program.

Yoga and Pilates practitioners can receive a wide variety of mental and physical improvements from these exercises. Benefits include improved strength and stamina, better muscle tone, greater flexibility, and weight loss. The meditation techniques practiced in the classes can teach students how to relax the mind and body. These benefits can help practitioners to reach their ultimate goal – better overall health.
These benefits are best received through consistent practice and commitment to oneself. They cannot be attained by occasionally taking a class. Best results come from committing and following through on the exercise program. Most students who participate consistantly soon begin to see progress.
How much improvement you experience depends upon the amount of time and commitment you wish to give to yourself.
